The international scientific conference Diffusion Fundamentals-X has commenced at New Uzbekistan University
The conference was inaugurated by Odil Abdurahmonov, the Head of the Department for Social Development at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Hilola Umarova, the Minister of Preschool and School Education.
It's worth noting that the conference will continue until September 8th. During this time, 25 scholars from prestigious foreign universities will be presenting their research findings.

The Summer School initiative at New Uzbekistan University has come to a successful close!
Over a span of 6 days, both local and international professors, educators, and experts came together to conduct seminars and training sessions aligned with 5 key United Nations objectives. These objectives include Quality education, Clean water and sanitation, Clean Energy, No Poverty, Peace and Justice and Strong Institutions.
In addition, exciting trips were organized to explore technology parks and various companies.
As a result of this endeavor, a vibrant youth community has emerged, poised to carry forward various projects in line with the goals of sustainable development for continuous growth.
Over a span of 6 days, both local and international professors, educators, and experts came together to conduct seminars and training sessions aligned with 5 key United Nations objectives. A trip was organized for the participants of the Summer School to the INNO Technopark and Zelal Textile.
During the trip, students got acquainted with the activities of the technopark and textile industry, as well as closely interacted with projects and works created by young people.
Throughout the program, students are immersing themselves in meaningful and invaluable experiences at their own pace.

Summer School has begun!
With the aim of effectively utilizing the free time of school students and further enhancing their knowledge and skills during the summer break at the New Uzbekistan University, the "Summer School" program has been organized.
A total of 1522 students have shown interest in the "Summer School," and 40 of the most talented students have been selected.
Throughout the program, opportunities are provided for young students to receive education at a higher level, participate in workshops conducted by professors and instructors, and engage in various enjoyable and educational activities.

The third entrance exam
The third entrance exam took place on August 5th.
All the exams were conducted in English as the entire education process at the university is in English.
The exams were held across 14 regions of our country, including the Presidential schools in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers, as well as at the specialized school named after Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi in Tashkent city.
In terms of numbers, a total of 3,251 candidates were registered for the 2023/2024 academic year, with 1,595 applicants taking the third admission exam to demonstrate their knowledge.
All the exams were conducted in English as the entire education process at the university is in English.

The winners of the "Seeds for the Future 2023" project have been announced!
The winners of the "Seeds for the Future 2023" project have been announced!
We previously reported that Huawei Uzbekistan had announced a competition for Uzbek students to participate in the "Seeds for the Future 2023" program.
In this competition, three of our students have emerged as winners, earning the opportunity to participate in the second stage held in Doha, Qatar.
The project consists of four stages, and the teams that were victorious in Doha will proceed to the third stage in Dubai, UAE.
The final stage will take place in China, where the winning teams will be awarded significant cash prizes, valuable incentives, and a $100,000 grant to support the development of their startup ideas.

Chinese students at New Uzbekistan University
A meeting was held between 18 students from the North-West Polytechnical University of China and the most active students of the New Uzbekistan University.
The students from both universities discussed various topics. Specifically, our students provided information to the Chinese guests about the activities of the student council, the teaching process, various startup projects, competitions, and other conditions at the university.
Additionally, the students exchanged opinions about the social life at the university and the opportunities provided to them. They expressed their willingness to establish ongoing connections and collaborate in the future, as well as to jointly promote news and updates.
A meeting was held between 18 students from the North-West Polytechnical University of China and the most active students of the New Uzbekistan University.
The students from both universities discussed various topics. Specifically, our students provided information to the Chinese guests about the activities of the student council, the teaching process, various startup projects, competitions, and other conditions at the university.

Currently, Bahodir Ahmedov is organizing various meetings and discussions in the state of Texas, USA, with the aim of creating new opportunities for our students and expanding collaboration networks.
In a meeting held at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) with Dr. Juan Gonzales, the following topics were discussed:
Formation of a professor-exchange program,
Development of collaborative relationships among universities,
Implementation of student exchange programs.
Furthermore, during the meeting with Professor David Hyndman, establishing joint programs in collaboration with Natural Sciences and Mathematics School in the fields of physics, chemistry, and mathematics was discussed. Collaboration in the management of water resources was also addressed.
As a result, it was agreed to establish long-term internships for students of the New Uzbekistan University in five semiconductor manufacturing companies located in the state of Texas.
It should be noted that UT Dallas is a top-tier research institution in Dallas, specializing in the advancement of scientific discoveries and technologies.
