Students from New Uzbekistan University recently took part in the "CanSat" competition organized by the "Uzbekcosmos" agency.
"CanSat" is an educational and simulation-based competition where students design, launch, and operate a small prototype of a satellite. This miniature satellite is launched to an altitude of 1-2 kilometers using a specialized drone, collecting critical atmospheric data during its descent.
The device developed by our students was capable of measuring air temperature, pressure, and humidity. Using the transmitted data, they successfully conducted a simplified meteorological analysis.
Through this competition, our students gained not only practical experience but also valuable new knowledge in the field of space technologies. At the end of the event, participants presented their projects to a panel of experts and received positive feedback for their innovative work.
New Uzbekistan University organized a special event titled "A Day in the Military Unit" to commemorate the 542nd anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur. The event took place at the Tashkent Military District's training field in Chirchiq city, aiming to foster patriotism among students and strengthen their sense of loyalty to the Motherland.
The event brought together 120 university students who actively participated in various engaging activities. These included demonstrations by the honorary guard on the parade ground, combat training displays by paratroopers, and exciting competitions such as pull-ups, stone lifting, weapon assembly, and target shooting using simulators.
The event concluded with a cultural and educational program dedicated to the life and literary contributions of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur. Students recited his poems and learned more about the remarkable achievements of this historical figure.
