Professor Luciano Rezzolla Wins the PRACE HPC Excellence Award 2024

New Uzbekistan University is proud to announce that our Honorary Professor, Luciano Rezzolla, has been awarded the prestigious PRACE HPC Excellence Award 2024. Established by the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE), this award recognizes groundbreaking scientific achievements made using high-performance computing (HPC) technologies.  

Professor Rezzolla is not only an esteemed Honorary Professor at NewUU but also a globally recognized leading scientist in his field. His outstanding contributions to HPC development and its applications across various scientific disciplines have earned him this distinguished honor.  

The PRACE HPC Excellence Award is granted to researchers who have significantly advanced HPC technologies and their impact on scientific research. Awardees receive a €20,000 cash prize and the opportunity to deliver a plenary lecture at a major international conference.
