iCCiEE – Intercultural Co-Creation for International Entrepreneurship Education
We are excited to announce that our joint project with HTW Dresden University, German-Jordanian University and New Uzbekistan University is awarded a grant by DAAD, the largest German Academic Exchange Service. The project has been developed and supported together with our colleagues from TUM International GmbH.
The aim of the project is to develop and test innovative teaching methods in the field of entrepreneurship and to establish a cooperative relationship between the participating universities. The project extends over two the years (2023-2024) with four 10-day workshops in Dresden, Munich, Amman and Tashkent correspondingly.
The call for applications for participation is open from March 1 till March 10, 2023. Four (4) students and 2 staff/faculty members will be selected for the participation in the project from NUU. They are involved in the discussions around modern and didactic formats of teaching in the field of entrepreneurship and work in intercultural teams together with Jordanian and German students.
Project goals:
Developing of a framework and curriculum for a master study program in the field of entrepreneurship:
- local and cultural characteristics and requirements;
- digital and non-digital teaching methods;
- optional: design as double or triple degree program.
Implementing and testing different innovative teaching methods within an international and intercultural setting:
- four teaching workshops (e.g., design thinking, business model canvas, elevator pitch, real use cases/case studies, gamification);
- students’ teams will develop a business from idea to business model, pitch it and go through a business simulation.
Intercultural exchange and discussions:
- expanding the cooperation between the partner institutions but also connect with local stakeholder.

Selection Procedure:
All students of NUU who have interest in teaching methods, educational methodology, entrepreneurship is encourage to submit their applications. The following documents are required to submit:
1. Motivation letter (250 - 500 words); Please, explain why you would like to participate in the workshop and explain how participating in the workshop will help you in your future career.
2. Academic transcript (indicate your current GPA);
3. Certificates of participation in Hackathons, Conferences and Start-up projects;
4. Certificate of English proficiency (fluent speaking);
5. Completed projects will be favorable;
6. Project proposal on innovative methods of teaching entrepreneurship.
Deadlines for Applications:
1. Please submit all necessary documents by March 10, 2023 via Apply button.
2. Best applications will be called for an interview in the second stage.
Timeline of the Project:
1st Workshop in Dresden (7-10 days):
Approximately in June or July 2023 (exact dates will be announced).
2nd Workshop in Amman (7-10 days):
Approximately in October or November 2023 (exact dates will be announced).
3rd Workshop in Tashkent (7-10 days)
Approximately in March, April, May or June 2024 (exact dates will be announced).
4th Workshop in Munich (7-10 days)
Approximately in October or November 2024 (exact dates will be announced).
