• Scholarships for talented students are provided based on the norms of the Resolution of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 300 dated 02.06.2022. According to the decree, there are 6 different types of scholarship. Information about all types of scholarship can be found on “Fees and Funding” section of each program.

At New Uzbekistan University, Duo Lingo is NOT accepted. Only one of the following certificates are accepted:

• TOEFL
• International Baccalaureate Diploma - English A or B at Higher or StandardLevel
• Pearson Edexcel International GCSE English Language
• GCSE English Language
• GCE O-Level English Language
• GCE A-Level/AS-Level in English Language
• IGCSE English as a First Language
• GCSE English as a Second Language
• Pearson test of English (PTE) – Academic
• Cambridge C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced/CAE)
• Cambridge C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge English: Proficiency/CPE)
• Cambridge B2 First (formerly Cambridge English: First/FCE)

• Yes, this certificate exempts applicants from the Math & Logical Thinking exam. You can use the online “Equivalency calculator” to see the equivalency of your score to Math & Logical Thinking exam. You can find online equivalency calculator under “Entry requirements” section of each program.

• If applicants have not got this document yet, they should upload a reference letter from their school/lyceum/college. Also, they must send the electronic version of this document with the academic transcripts to email - diploma@newuu.uz by September 5th.

• If applicants do not have IELTS/TOEFL certificate or its equivalents yet, they can still take entrance exams. Also, they must send the electronic version of IELTS/TOEFL certificate or its equivalents to email - englishtest@newuu.uz by September 5th.

• The program of transfer from other universities to New Uzbekistan University is available. Each applicant will be evaluated case by case based on the prior credits and subjects taken before. You should send electronic version of your transcript to the e-mail – admission@newuu.uz

• The transfer is open for the following departments:

• You can change the selected program until 6 days before the exam date you registered. So, first you have to contact the Admission Team at least 6 days before the exam date you registered, then send an e-mail stating your request to admission@newuu.uz.

• Applicant`s school grades are not taken into account in the entrance examination process.

• Yes, IELTS/TOEFL certificate or its equivalents are required.

• Entrance exams are conducted in English.

• The application is accepted until 31st July.

Study Process

• The curricula at New Uzbekistan University is developed in collaboration with the Massashusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and other partners.

• As all of our curricula are designed in collaboration with our international partners such as TUM, MIT, Sejong universities, the lessons are conducted only in English. In addition, 60% of professors are prominent foreign scholars with both academic and real-world experience. Therefore, you will be required to have IELTS/TOEFL certificates or its equivalents (as listed in Question 2).
