During a presentation on the higher education system in the presence of President Sh. Mirziyoyev, it was announced that in all state higher education institutions, educational grants will be allocated for one year and redistributed annually among students who have achieved high grades.
This system, implemented since 2022, at New Uzbekistan University, has been extended to other higher education institutions due to its comprehensive approach and promotion of healthy competition among students.

Workshops based on MIT experience have begun
New Uzbekistan University has initiated a long-term partnership with the world-renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Within the framework of this partnership, workshops have commenced today, attended by 250 representatives from various fields across the Republic.
The workshops were inaugurated by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, where she shared her insights on bilateral cooperation.
For information, the workshops will continue until May 2nd.
A training seminar was held at the New Uzbekistan University
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education is conducting training seminars on the topic of "Improving the effectiveness of educational work in general education schools, addressing systemic issues and solutions for the future."
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by Xayriddin Sultonov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Odil Abdurahmonov, Head of the Social Development Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Hilola Umarova, Minister of Preschool and School Education, Otabek Hasanov, Director of the Republic Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, as well as educators from all regions and cities of our country.
Additionally, during the event, the Ministry presented the "Parent – Teacher – Mentor" book prepared by the Ministry.

The cooperation relations between New Uzbekistan University and HTW Dresden
During the visit of the delegation from New Uzbekistan University to Germany, a memorandum of understanding was signed with HTW Dresden.
According to the agreement, both universities agreed to exchange students and faculty members, as well as collaborate on scientific research.
The rector of HTW Dresden, Professor Kathrin Salchert, stated the following regarding the bilateral cooperation:
"We are pleased to collaborate with New Uzbekistan University. The signing of the memorandum of understanding will further enhance our cooperation and be beneficial for both parties."
It is worth noting that cooperation relations with HTW Dresden have been established since 2023, participating in the DAAD program together.
