Biography

Aleksandr Kapitonov received his Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control (2009) and Master's degree in Automation and Control (2011) from ITMO University, Saint Petersburg, Russia. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Automation from ITMO University in 2014. He was an Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of ICT at ITMO University, where he also took a part in the Adaptive and Nonlinear Control Systems Laboratory. Currently, he is affiliated with New Uzbekistan University, Tashkent. His research interests include robot economics, blockchain technology applications in robotics, autonomous systems and UAVs, control theory, multi-agent systems, and the integration of Large Language Model (LLM) agents in robotic systems. He has pioneered work on blockchain-based protocols for autonomous business activities in multi-agent systems and the development of smart factory concepts using decentralized technologies.
