Entry Requirements for International Students

We welcome international students to our undergraduate and graduate programs at New Uzbekistan University (NewUU). Below are the general admission requirements.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements:

Educational Background: Applicants must have completed secondary school.
Minimum English Proficiency Requirements: Applicants must meet one of the following:
IELTS: 5.5
TOEFL iBT: 46 (Only TOEFL iBT taken at approved test centers is accepted; TOEFL iBT Home Edition is not accepted.)

Entrance Exam Requirement: Applicants must meet one of the following:

SAT certificate with a minimum Math score of 650
International Baccalaureate (IB) certificate with a minimum Math score of 4
International AS & A Levels certificate with a minimum Math grade of E
Pass the Math & Logical Thinking entrance exam at NewUU (if the applicant can visit Uzbekistan to take the exam)

Educational Background

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (minimum 180 ECTS credits).
The degree should be completed in a full-time or part-time format.

An online interview is required for international applicants to two-year graduate programs.
