Biography

Dr. Olga Salnikova Chekeres is a mathematical physicist specialising in gauge theories and mathematical structures underlying classical and quantum field theory, with a particular emphasis on symplectic and Poisson structures, super- and graded geometry. Her research focuses heavily on the theory of non-local observables and novel graded constructions. She employs this apparatus for the study of dissipative and coupled systems in continuum mechanics and physics, bridging advanced geometric methods, high-energy physics, and real-world mechanical systems.

Dr. Salnikova Chekeres has held academic positions at the University of Geneva, the University of Connecticut, ITMP Lomonosov Moscow State University, the University of L’Aquila and La Rochelle University. She combines an active international research profile with extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
