A Doctoral Researcher of New Uzbekistan University Successfully Completes an International Research Internship at Lund University.
A doctoral researcher of New Uzbekistan University, Kamolkhon Mo‘minov, has successfully completed an international research internship at Lund University, one of the world’s Top 100 universities.
The internship was organized within the framework of international academic cooperation and implemented as part of the Erasmus+ MOCCA project. The program lasted for one month.
During the internship, the researcher conducted a study focused on identifying corruption-related communication in Uzbek-language texts. The research applied both lexicon-based approaches and machine learning methods, demonstrating an effective combination of traditional and modern analytical techniques. The results were successfully presented at an international academic seminar.
Following the completion of the project, a scientific book based on the research findings is planned for publication. All publication costs will be fully covered, and complimentary copies will be provided to the authors.
This international internship marks an important step in strengthening New Uzbekistan University’s presence in the global academic community, expanding cooperation with leading international universities, creating new opportunities for young researchers, and advancing modern research directions.
