Azizbek Marakhimov Appointed First Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at New Uzbekistan University

Dr. Azizbek Avazjonovich Marakhimov has been appointed as the First Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at New Uzbekistan University.

Dr. Marakhimov holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Westminster International University in Tashkent and earned both his master's and doctoral degrees from Dongguk University in the Republic of Korea. He holds a PhD in Information Systems Management.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Marakhimov has held various academic and leadership positions at Dongguk University, Inha University in Tashkent, and New Uzbekistan University.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice Rector for International Affairs at New Uzbekistan University, where he played a key role in strengthening the university’s international partnerships, expanding cooperation with leading global academic institutions, and advancing international projects and initiatives.
