Dr. Baxtiyor Eshchanov Delivered an International Workshop at Xi’an Jiaotong University

Dr. Baxtiyor Eshchanov, Head of the Department of Economics at New Uzbekistan University, delivered an international practical workshop at the School of Electrical Engineering of one of China’s prestigious higher education institutions — Xi’an Jiaotong University.

During the workshop, he presented on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities of Integrating Utility-Scale Renewable Capacities in Uzbekistan”, highlighting both the key challenges and promising opportunities related to integrating large-scale renewable energy capacities into Uzbekistan’s national power system.

The presentation also focused on such issues as energy transition, sustainable development, modern infrastructure, and the importance of international experience in the energy sector.

This workshop became another important step in demonstrating New Uzbekistan University’s growing presence in the international academic arena, expanding scientific cooperation, and strengthening the contribution of the university’s experts to discussions on pressing global issues.
