Today, New Uzbekistan University, in collaboration with the Youth Economists Society of Uzbekistan (YESU), hosted a public lecture by Professor Ricardo Hausmann, Professor at Harvard Kennedy School and Founder and Director of the Harvard Growth Lab, on the topic "Economic Complexity and the Future of Economic Development."

During the lecture, Professor Hausmann discussed the theory of economic complexity, the key drivers of national economic development, approaches to enhancing competitiveness, and modern strategies for achieving sustainable economic growth.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to engage directly with Professor Hausmann and receive insights on a wide range of economic issues.
