International Summer Course for Young Economists Successfully Held

The Basics of Economics Summer Course, organized by the Young Economists Society of Uzbekistan (YESU) at New Uzbekistan University, has been successfully completed.

The intensive seven-day program brought together students and young professionals from leading universities across Uzbekistan.

Led by Professor Christopher Hannum, participants explored the fundamentals of economic thinking, including supply and demand, trade, market structures, economic growth, employment, financial systems, monetary policy, and inflation.

The course provided aspiring economists with an opportunity to gain internationally oriented knowledge, develop analytical thinking, and strengthen their understanding of key economic principles and real-world economic processes.

YESU aims to create opportunities for talented young people interested in economics by providing access to high-quality education, a strong academic environment, and world-class knowledge.
