On December 27, New Uzbekistan University hosted an important meeting with principals of general education schools in Tashkent.

The discussion focused on the “Language for the Future” initiative, set to be launched nationwide from 2025 based on the Tashkent pilot experience, as well as on supporting students and strengthening their foreign language proficiency.

The event was attended by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, E’zoza Karimova, Minister of Preschool and School Education, representatives of relevant institutions, and school leaders.

Within the framework of the initiative:

nearly 40,000 11th-grade graduates will be covered;
students will study in groups tailored to their proficiency levels;
learners will gain direct access to instruction from international teachers;
National Certification exams will be organized at the end of the academic year.
