On June 11, a delegation from Peking University (PKU), one of the world's leading higher education institutions, led by Vice President Professor Ning Qi, visited New Uzbekistan University.
During the visit, the two sides discussed expanding student exchange opportunities, strengthening joint research initiatives, and advancing strategic cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting also highlighted the successful outcomes of the GLOBEX International Summer Program, in which New Uzbekistan University students are actively participating. The program provides students with valuable opportunities to engage in international engineering projects and gain global academic experience.
In addition, the parties explored prospects for collaboration in artificial intelligence and mathematics within the framework of the China–Uzbekistan Belt & Road Mathematics Center initiative through 2030. Discussions focused on launching joint research projects, facilitating faculty exchange programs, and strengthening scientific infrastructure.
The visit marks another important step in expanding New Uzbekistan University's global partnership network, creating new international opportunities for students, and advancing cooperation in science, research, and innovation.
