New Uzbekistan University Advances Academic Cooperation with the United Kingdom

An official meeting was held at New Uzbekistan University with the leadership of the British Council in Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by Michael Houlgate, Country Director of the British Council in Uzbekistan, and Jamilya Gulyamova, Deputy Director.

During the discussion, the University presented its educational and research activities, research infrastructure, academic publications, as well as the opportunities created for faculty members and students. Current and prospective areas of cooperation with higher education institutions in the United Kingdom were also explored.

Particular attention was given to the Master’s-level TESOL program, teaching and learning processes, academic mobility for students and faculty, international research collaboration, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into educational practices.

This meeting represents an important milestone in New Uzbekistan University’s consistent strategy to strengthen cooperation with the United Kingdom in education and research, expand international academic partnerships, and further enhance its position within the global higher education landscape.
