“New Uzbekistan” University Expands International Cooperation in Start-up and Venture Financing

A delegation led by Odiljon Abdurazzakov, Dean of the School of Management at New Uzbekistan University, visited the Republic of Korea to study advanced practices in start-up support and venture financing.

During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of key institutions shaping Korea’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including Korean Venture Investment Corporation, Fintech Center Korea, TIPS Town, Chungnam Technopark, KAIST Institute for Startup, and KDI.

The meetings focused on presenting the emerging start-up ecosystem at New Uzbekistan University, as well as the university’s innovation-driven initiatives and approaches to fostering entrepreneurship. Discussions also explored opportunities for launching joint programs, exchanging expertise, and expanding institutional cooperation.

The visit marked an important step toward introducing international best practices at New Uzbekistan University, strengthening innovation infrastructure, and enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of entrepreneurship and venture development.
