Dr. Amir Jafari, Associate Professor at New Uzbekistan University, has been honored with the 2026 IFAAMAS Influential Paper Award for his outstanding contributions to the fields of artificial intelligence, game theory, and multi-agent systems.

The award was presented for a highly influential research paper co-authored with Professor Amy Greenwald of Brown University.

The recognition was announced during AAMAS 2026 (The International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems), held in Paphos, Cyprus, in May 2026. AAMAS is widely regarded as one of the world’s premier conferences in artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems research.

This achievement reflects the growing international recognition of the high-quality research being conducted at New Uzbekistan University and further demonstrates the university’s expanding expertise in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
