As part of an official visit to Germany, Rector of New Uzbekistan University, Dr. Bahodir Ahmedov, participated in high-level meetings with the leadership of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), one of the world's leading universities, as a member of the Uzbek delegation.
The discussions resulted in significant new international opportunities for New Uzbekistan University students. Starting from the Fall Semester of 2026, students will have the opportunity to spend one semester studying at TUM, gaining valuable academic and international experience in one of Europe’s top innovation ecosystems.
The parties also discussed launching a new Aerospace Engineering program and expanding joint educational and research initiatives in engineering, artificial intelligence, information technologies, agricultural technologies, medical technologies, and water resource management.
These agreements further strengthen New Uzbekistan University’s growing strategic partnership ecosystem in Germany. The university has been actively developing cooperation with leading German universities, research institutions, industry partners, and innovation organizations, creating new opportunities for students and faculty in international education, research, academic exchange, and technology transfer.
This partnership marks another important step in advancing New Uzbekistan University’s global academic integration and providing students with access to world-class educational and research opportunities.
