On March 1, the first competition round of the New Uzbekistan Business Case Competition 2026 was successfully held.

Student teams from 55 universities across the country analyzed a Harvard Business School case dedicated to BYD, examining the company’s global market strategy, production model, innovation capacity, and international expansion plans.

The teams presented their strategic solutions to a jury composed of professors from the School of Management at New Uzbekistan University.

Presentations were evaluated based on analytical depth, strategic justification, financial accuracy, and the ability to respond professionally to questions.

As part of the round, Jasur Fayziev, Corporate Trainer at KPMG New Zealand, provided participants with practical guidance on case structuring, financial modeling, and presentation standards. In the next stage of the competition, teams will analyze the global electric vehicle market using Tesla as a case study, further strengthening their strategic and analytical competencies.
