The State Flag — a symbol of our independence and national pride

Today, New Uzbekistan University held a large-scale educational and cultural event dedicated to the Adoption Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Adopted on 18 November 1991, the State Flag has since become a symbol of our nation's progress, peaceful policy, and cultural identity, representing Uzbekistan’s place on the global stage.

The event featured performances and presentations by several distinguished organizations:

The National Guard of Uzbekistan showcased a ceremonial appearance of the mounted unit along with a performance by the military orchestra.

The Uzbekistan State Philharmonic presented an educational lectorship session, a concert program, and performances by estrada artists.

The EthnoSport Association delivered impressive demonstrations of traditional Uzbek sports — qarabtep, national wrestling, archery, and Uzbek martial arts.

On this historic day, the university extends heartfelt congratulations to all citizens and calls upon our youth to further elevate the prestige of our flag through knowledge, responsibility, and initiative.
