Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC

Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC is the largest Uzbek-Korean joint venture, operating the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex in Karakalpakstan. It was established through cooperation between Uzbekneftegaz and Korean companies LOTTE Chemical, KOGAS, and GS E&R. Launched in 2015, the complex includes plants for producing ethylene, high-density polyethylene (387,000 tons/year), and polypropylene (83,000 tons/year). Its products are used in packaging, construction, textiles, medicine, and automotive industries. The enterprise employs technologies from KBR, UOP, Mitsui, and others. Uz-Kor plays a key role in developing Uzbekistan’s petrochemical sector, supplying domestic and export markets while implementing international standards for quality and sustainable production.
