This job description defines the job responsibilities of the Chief Specialist of the Institutional Analysis Department of the “New Uzbekistan” University. The following are the main responsibilities of the Chief Specialist of the Institutional Analysis Department:
– Implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President, resolutions of the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training, resolutions of the University Council and orders of the Rector of the University;
– Analysis of the effectiveness of educational, scientific and research activities, management systems and structures at the University;
– Development and application of analysis methodologies consistent with the strategic goals of the University;
– Assessment of changes and innovations in academic, scientific and management systems, preparation of analytical reports on them;
– Presentation of the results of the analysis to the university management;
– Develop recommendations for improving the institutional structures of the University;
– Identify problems and propose strategic decisions to solve them;
– Work closely with internal departments and faculties of the University, analyze their activities;
– Search for institutional opportunities for international cooperation and introduce new trends in educational systems;
– Monitor and evaluate the results of institutional reforms being implemented at the University;
– Support and analyze reforms aimed at increasing the academic and scientific potential of the University;
– Collect, analyze and process the necessary information from the internal and external environment of the University;
– Create and update the database, carry out the necessary statistical analysis;
– Prepare analytical reports on the institutional activities of the University;
– Regularly submit reports to the University management and make necessary changes;
– Conduct scientific research on the University's educational system, develop new analytical methodologies;
– Preparation and publication of scientific articles and analytical materials;
– Participation in the development of long-term strategic plans of the University;
– Assistance in the formation of strategies for the development of educational, scientific activities and management systems;
– Support the daily activities of the department, effectively organize the distribution of work;
– Manage the resources and time allocation of the department, control the activities of employees;
– Organize the team of the Institutional Analysis Department and ensure its effective functioning;
– Constantly update their knowledge and skills, participate in advanced training;
– Know the basics of business administration;
– Have the basics of working on a personal computer and the skills to use modern ICT tools;
– Follow the procedure for working with information whose access is limited in accordance with the legislation;
– Establish cooperation with relevant departments and departments on issues related to the field;
– Obtain information, documents and materials necessary for the development of draft legal and regulatory documents in the field in accordance with the established procedure;
– Participate in seminars, meetings and conferences organized in their field;
– Use working time productively;
– Perform other duties in accordance with the distribution of duties;
– Ensure compliance with and observe the requirements of the University Charter, internal regulations, rules of etiquette, and dress code.
