About the Position

New Uzbekistan University is seeking a qualified and proactive professional for the position of Head of the Media Relations Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the University's media strategy, strengthening public relations, and enhancing the University's reputation and public image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate media coverage of the University's activities across traditional and digital media platforms;
• Build and maintain effective relationships with media representatives;
• Prepare press releases, articles, feature stories, and other communication materials;
• Manage and regularly update the University's official website and social media channels;
• Organize press conferences, media briefings, seminars, and other public relations events;
• Maintain and manage the University's photo, audio, and video archive;
• Monitor public opinion and media coverage related to the University;
• Lead and coordinate the activities of the Media Relations Department and supervise its staff;
• Ensure the timely execution of assignments from the University leadership.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Public Relations, Philology, Marketing, or a related field;
• Proven experience in media, public relations, or a press office;
• Excellent written and spoken Uzbek and Russian language skills;
• Strong media content creation and editing skills;
• Experience working with modern ICT tools and social media platforms;
• Strong organizational, leadership, and team management skills;
• High level of responsibility, ability to work efficiently, and creative thinking.
