Students of New Uzbekistan University Watched the Play “Jinlar Bazmi”

Students of New Uzbekistan University attended the play “Jinlar Bazmi” at the Uzbekistan State Drama Theatre. The production is based on Khurshid Dustmuhammad's novella “Yolg‘iz” and is imbued with the spirit of Jadid literature and patriotism. Its profound and impactful storyline left a deep impression on the audience.  

Throughout the play, the views of national revivalists Abdulla Avloni and Mahmudkhoja Behbudi on the power of theatre were vividly demonstrated. Comparing theatre to a "mirror" of life, the students gained a deeper appreciation for its unique portrayal of human experiences. They also developed a greater respect for the works of these literary giants and their advocacy for national values and justice.  

The play vividly depicted the tragic fate of the protagonist, the lives of individuals devoted to their ideals, and their inner struggles. The struggles of heroes who prioritized the interests of their homeland over their personal lives, the betrayal of friends who turned against them, and the deep respect for the nation’s brave sons inspired the students to strive for goodness and justice.
