New Uzbekistan University announces the opening of Stage 2 – Full Proposal Submission under the NewUU Research Projects Programme 2026.

Stage 2 is open only to applicants whose research topics were validated through Stage 1 and who were invited to submit a full proposal.

Research Projects and Small Research Projects

Full proposals must be submitted through OneDesk by the deadline. Late or incomplete submissions may be rejected during technical expertise.

Student applicants must submit their Stage 2 application through the OneDesk profile of the faculty member or Institute researcher acting as co-leader.

Purpose of Stage 2

Stage 2 is the full proposal competition of the NewUU Research Projects Programme 2026. The purpose is to select high-quality research projects that demonstrate scientific novelty, practical significance, relevance to Uzbekistan’s development needs, feasibility of implementation, and strong research team capacity.

Full proposals will undergo:

• Technical expertise;
• Scientific expertise;
• Final evaluation by the Scientific and Technical Council;
• Funding decision by the University Rector.

Validation of a topic in Stage 1 does not constitute a funding decision.
