New Uzbekistan University is proud to announce that a joint Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project between New Uzbekistan University (Uzbekistan) and the University of Malta has been successfully selected for funding under the Erasmus+ Key Action 171 (KA171) – International Credit Mobility, Call for Applications February 2025.

The project will be coordinated on behalf of Uzbekistan by Professor Bobomurod Ahmedov, who will serve as the National Project Leader. This academic partnership aims to strengthen international collaboration in the fields of natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, and interdisciplinary cosmology programs.

According to the official confirmation letter from the University of Malta, the approved mobility period will run from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2028, in line with the Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement. The program will fund staff mobility for teaching between the two universities for up to seven days, including travel.

This collaboration represents a new stage in New Uzbekistan University’s internationalization journey, expanding its global academic partnerships and reinforcing its commitment to excellence in education and research.
