Biography

Alfira Makhmutova is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at New Uzbekistan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Nazarbayev University and an MSc in Education (Leadership and Policy) from the University of Bristol. She completed her undergraduate studies in Chinese Language at Kazakh National University. Her professional background includes academic roles at Oxus University (Uzbekistan), SDU University (Kazakhstan), and research positions at Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan). Alfira also worked internationally in education and translation roles across Kazakhstan and the UK.
