Resolution On The Establishment Of The University New Uzbekistan

The Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes New Uzbekistan University in Tashkent as a modern, state higher education institution aimed at training highly qualified, globally competitive, and patriotic specialists. The university will operate in partnership with prestigious international universities such as MIT, Stanford, Cambridge, and TUM, following international standards.

Key goals of the university include:

Implementing innovative, internationally recognized curricula,

Fostering an educational environment focused on research, technology, and production integration,

Providing instruction in Uzbek and English using a credit-modular system.

Admissions will include both state-funded grants and tuition-based contracts. Special state grants will be awarded to gifted students, including winners of international Olympiads, graduates of Presidential and specialized schools, and applicants from socially vulnerable families.

The university will independently manage its structure, recruitment, educational programs, and finances, and will be supported by various sources including the state budget, sponsorships, and international grants. A long-term roadmap has been approved to ensure the rapid development of infrastructure, staff recruitment, and academic processes.
