Professor

Biography

Dr. Sanghyuk Lee is a computer scientist with expertise in security, wireless communication, and network optimization. He previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) in South Korea. Before that, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at KAIST, one of South Korea’s top research universities.

He holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from KAIST (2015), an M.S. in Information and Communication Engineering from KAIST (2008), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from KAIST (2006).

His research interests include:

  1. Security in wireless networks
  2. Coexistence of LTE/WiFi
  3. Device-to-device communications
  4. Energy-efficient protocols
  5. Medium access control (MAC) design
  6. Protocol optimization and game theory
